Education Nurse
The Education nurse is responsible for nursing staff education and training, and for the nursing staff education and training, and for the employee health compliance program employee health compliance program.The Education Nurse is also responsible for assisting the CNO in evaluating; reviewing, designing and implementing hospital training events with respect to all RN/LPN/MHT staff required training.
Education: A graduate of an appropriately accredited school of nursing, is licensed by the Iowa State Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse and demonstrates an understanding of the principles of epidemiology and infectious disease in the hospital. Bachelor's Degree required, Masters degree preferred
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa.
